The Kansas Jayhawks defeated the Memphis Tigers 75-68 in overtime to win their third National Championship. In this year's tournament, four #1 seeds reached the Final Four for the first time. Davidson nearly became the first #10 seed to reach the Final Four. As I am sure most of you noticed, there were a lot of very uncompetitive games this year. I did the math and found out that the average margin of victory for the winners was 14.0 points which was the second highest since the tournament expanded to 64 teams in 1985.
