The 2008 NFL schedule has been released. The Patriots will open the season on Sunday, September 7th when they host the Kansas City Chiefs. The Pats only Monday Night Football appearance will come on October 20th when they host Denver. The Pats also have a Thursday game in November against the Jets. Here is the full 2008 schedule:

The Patriots used their first round pick (10th overall) on Tennessee Vols linebacker Jerod Mayo. The Patriots followed that pick with Colorado corner Terrence Wheatley in the second round and Michigan linebacker Shawn Crable and San Diego State QB Kevin O'Connell in the third round.
